Boat and yacht rental in Thailand

From a river outing to a day among islands: explore destinations and boat types before choosing an operator.

Right now GetnDrive does not list boats in Thailand yet: this page has no vessel catalog, pricing or booking — only a guide to destinations and boat types.

Where to go

Eight destinations for time on the water

Bangkok is for river trips; sea outings start from coastal ports. Plan around the actual departure point, coast and season.

This is a guide to vessel types, not a list of available GetnDrive boats.

Motor yachts

For a private outing with room on board and a flexible stop plan. Compare guest capacity, crew and included services.

Sailing catamarans

For a relaxed time on the water with a group. Ask whether the boat will sail: wind and the captain’s decision determine the actual passage.

Speedboats

For travel between points with less time on the water when conditions permit. Check the route, boarding, child policy and sea conditions.

Thai long-tail boats

For shorter coastal routes and beach visits. Check capacity, sun protection and how guests board at the shore.

Before you go

Questions to settle with the operator

A trip may follow a river, the coast or a route between islands. The final plan depends on the port, boat, weather and local rules.

Departure point

Ask for the exact pier or marina name, address and arrival time. A city name alone does not identify where you board.

Duration and stops

Confirm time on board, travel time, swim stops and return point. Do not treat a sample itinerary as guaranteed.

Weather and changes

Ask who decides whether the boat departs, when changes are communicated and how postponements or cancellations work.

What is included

Ask about captain and crew, life jackets, fuel, fees, meals and child restrictions before paying.

The essentials

Frequently asked questions

Can I book a boat through GetnDrive now?

No. Marine partner offers are not connected yet. This page has no available fleet or booking.

Are prices and open dates shown?

Not yet. Prices and a calendar will appear only with verified operator offers.

Where would a Bangkok trip depart?

First choose a format: a Chao Phraya river outing or a sea trip from a suitable coastal port. The operator must confirm the exact boarding point.

How do I choose between a yacht and a speedboat?

Compare group size, time on the water, comfort and planned stops. Availability of any boat type depends on the operator.

Can any city be a starting point for an island trip?

There is no universal route. Destinations depend on the departure point, vessel, weather and local restrictions.

What if the weather changes?

Before paying, ask the operator how departure decisions are made and what postponement or cancellation terms apply.

What documents might I need?

For a crewed trip, ask the operator about passenger requirements. For self-drive, check their conditions and applicable local requirements in advance.

Where can I find the exact boarding point?

In the confirmation for a specific operator offer. GetnDrive cannot specify a booking pier or marina before offers are connected.

How can I list my fleet with GetnDrive?

Open the application on the partner page, select “Yachts” or “Boats” and tell us about your business, vessels and destinations. Listing offers requires a separate review.
